Our concert year is in full swing and we wanted to give you some updates of our activities:

VivazzA Häppchen III

On the 10th of November, as part of our concert series, VivazzA Häppchen/VivazzA Appetizers, we presented the program, Serenade a deux for Clarinet and Harp in the Bürgerhaus Bilk im Salzmannbau. This concert series is a part of VivazzAs residency in the community center in Düsseldorf where we perform lighter programs in smaller formations, in a intimate atmosphere. These concerts were presented through support of Bürgerhaus Bilk im Salzmannbau and the non-for-profit organisation, Kom!ma Verein für Frauenkommunikation Düsseldorf Bilk (https://komma-duesseldorf.de/)

Chamber Music Course 2020

VivazzA will give its 4th chamber music course for wind and string amateur musicians from the 20th through 22nd of March 2020. Many thanks to the DTKV NRW for placing a article about the course in the National Magazine for musicians, the Neue Musik Zeitung, in the November Edition.

To welcome in the new year, VivazzA will present the program, French Impressions, in the Stilwerk Forum/Bechstein Centrum Düsseldorf. As an hommage to our concert venue we have selected works of composers for whom the piano was an important part of their compositional legacy. This program not only includes works from Francis Poulenc and Claude Debussy but also a chamber music setting of the Piano Concerto Nr. 2 from Frédéric Chopin with the brillant pianist Carmen Stefanescu as well as the Nonet Op. 38 of the underrated composer, Louisa Farrenc, who was the first female professor for piano on the Paris Conservatoire.
