Beginnings Unveiled
Under the theme “Beginnings Unveiled,” VivazzA presents two landmark works pivotal to its instrumentation: the first-ever nonet composed by German composer Louis Spohr, the Nonett in F-Dur, op. 31, and the Nonett Op. 147 by Bohemian composer J.B. Förster. The latter represents the Czech Nonett’s (the world’s oldest active chamber ensemble, with a history spanning over 100 years) inaugural commission, emphasizing the ensemble’s deep historical roots and dedication to excellence in chamber music.
The evening will be enhanced by selections from Antonín Dvořák’s opera Rusalka and Johann Strauss’ lively Die Fledermaus, performed by the talented soprano Julia Langeder, who is engaged in the “Regie” Department at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
The Sinfonietta VivazzA ensemble, inspired by the motto “Music you can touch,” offers a captivating blend of chamber music clarity and full symphonic richness. With their award- winning, eleven-member lineup, the ensemble creates an intimate concert experience, bringing classical music to life through unique arrangements and innovative instrumentation that make the music feel tangible and close to the audience.
