Program
The Sinfonietta VivazzA develops programs in every possible instrumentation as well as cooperates with other art forms such as theater, opera, dance or modern media. Our goal is to present classical music in its´ distinct and diverse characters.
Aufbruch in die Moderne/Awakening to Modernity
The composers and arrangers of our program, Bohuslav Martinů, Arnold Schönberg and Benno Sachs, who arranged Debussy's Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune for chamber orchestra, were persecuted and defamed during the National Socialist era.
Eroica.Revisited
Beethoven's Eroica Symphony will be performed in a newly interpreted nonet version, complemented by Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's lively Hebrides Overture and the rousing Nonet Op.147 by Czech composer J.B. Förster.
Vienna Calling
VivazzA cordially invites you to enjoy the lively sounds and colorful melodies of two close friends from Vienna, Johann Strauss II and Johannes Brahms.
VivazzA Shots: Chamber music in the pub
VivazzA's "Shots" are performed in small "sets" (time slots) and ensembles that are full of energy, which captivates from the first to the last second!
